Confessions
I watched Princesses of Long Island again.
I get grumpy when bored.
I play favorites with my dogs. Philly > Ginny
I am nervous to wear a swimsuit this weekend.
I get migraines when the barometer drops.
I had major anxieties as a child but grew out of them.
I fear that they have returned in a milder (controllable) form.
I am craving Olive Garden (I know, I just rolled my eyes at myself).
I saw This Is The End and hated it.
I really wish I would have brought guacamole and chips for dinner.

Tonight I noticed that we need a new shower curtain.
Two seconds later I realized I can register for it.
Just another reason I am psyched about this whole getting married thing.

Confession
I called my mom last Sunday evening and told her that I make terrible life choices. I realized this while watching Princess of Long Island on Bravo.
I already knew that I had terrible viewing habits. I frequently can get lost in reruns on Bravo and even sometimes catch myself watching Bridezillas. I like it because it is mindless and you can jump in at anytime. I have a short attention span so I like how I can read a (trash) magazine or browse the internet.
That being said, I felt like Princesses of Long Island was just to ridiculous. From the beginning I knew watching it was a bad choice but I couldn’t stop. I watched the whole episode. So I called my mom and confessed my embarrassing viewing habits.
She responded by saying that she would pray that I would make better choices when watching TV.

The Arch Slowdown
I work in Illinois so I have to cross a bridge that has a perfect view of the Arch every evening. Usually it is no big thing since most of the traffic is coming the opposite way. However, in the summers the Poplar Street Bridge is a bitch to get across because of what I like to call the Arch slowdown.
The view is picture perfect so many out of state motorist slow way down to catch a photo. After which they lose their bearings and become a mence to the roadway as they attempt to weave into the lane needed. And then when you take the exit to I-44 (my exit) you come across another picture perfect view of Busch Stadium. Catching this picture can cause near catastrophe as there is a sharp curve.
Today at 3pm I hit an Arch traffic jam and was almost hit by someone from California and Ohio. Both cars had a passenger with a camera out the window.

I just set my mom up with a Pinterest account. I was tired of verbally explaining ideas to her and thought that if I set her up with an account that only followed me she could see what I was talking about. Of course Pinterest doesn’t let you just follow one person so she follows me and a bunch of people who pin cute dogs. I thought that would be the easiest way for her to distinguish what I pin and what is pinned by the unknown.

Rant
A local kennel will not board family dogs that are pit mixes. No exception. It pisses me off because they won’t even give these poor pits a chance. I could understand requiring a temperament test and would happily agree to it. Saying no as soon as you say the name of the breed is just stupid.
Little do they know my Lab has more bite then my Pit.
Assholes.

My fat fingers are at it again. Or perhaps it is ultra sensitive buttons. Whatever it is I didn’t mean to hit reblog.

Monday Chat
This weekend was very relaxing. I was able to devour a book in one sitting which was AMAZING. I can’t even tell you the last time something like that happened.
Wedding talk: Dan had an amazing idea to film our venue tours so that my parents can see what they are paying for. It is a nice way to include them since they most likely won’t be seeing the venue until the wedding day. We went on the first one this weekend and have more scheduled for this week.
Related: We are going to hire a wedding coordinator so that come the week of the wedding we can enjoy our family that will be in town. I met with one and they quoted me $7,000. I have had a few good laughs about it and sent them a nice thanks but no thanks and p.s. you are crazy email.
Not related: It is taking every ounce of my willpower not to buy every cute thing I see. I am being an adult and putting graduation money into my savings.
I hate being an adult.
Related to first paragraph: Anyone read anything good lately?
Happy Monday!
